The Role: Inventory Control Assistant
The Inventory Control Assistant is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels and supporting all inventory processes, including researching discrepancies and validating expiration dates.
What You'll Do
• Perform scheduled cycle counts
• Conduct data entry and maintain accurate inventory records
• Investigate and reconcile reported discrepancies from multiple departments
• Identify and resolve issues with shorted products
• Check and document product expiration dates
• Perform physical and systemic scrap due to expiration, quality, or damage
• Use Warehouse Management Systems and mobile equipment as needed
• Work in cold environments (average temperature of 38°F)
• Work in a fast-paced production environment
• Lift 35-50 lbs continuously
• Wear required non-slip, oil-resistant footwear
• Work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and holidays
• Work overnight or early morning shifts
What You'll Bring
• Strong math skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to learn SAP (Warehouse Management System)
• Ability to clearly communicate in English; bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Forklift experience preferred
