Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Specialist will be reporting to the Operations/Warehouse Manager and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of all furniture items, including tracking quantities, locations, and stock levels.
  • Receive and inspect furniture items for damage or defects, and update inventory records.
  • Accurately input data into inventory management system.
  • Monitor inventory to minimize overstock.
  • Assist in fulfilling customer orders by picking, packing, and shipping furniture items in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines when handling and storing furniture items.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with other warehouse staff, including loaders, drivers, and supervisors, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Other duties as required by management.
  • Ensure conference rooms and breakrooms are orderly.
  • Provide administrative support to HR.
  • Other office duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:
  • This position may require sitting and standing for a long period of time.

Skills Required:
  • 1 to 2 years' experience in a warehouse environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required (associate degree preferred).
  • Knowledge in inventory warehousing, logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook-Teams, Word, Excel).
  • Knowledge of modern office equipment.
  • Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Good time management skills.
