Job Description:

The Inventory Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and supporting production operations. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, preproduction kitting, conducting cycle counts, order picking, and material handling, ensuring that materials and products are available, accurate, and efficiently managed to meet production and customer requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

ยท Perform preproduction kitting by preparing and staging materials required for scheduled builds.

ยท Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies.

ยท Execute order picking for internal and external orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

ยท Handle materials safely and efficiently, including receiving, storing, replenishing, and transferring stock as required.

ยท Support inventory transactions in the ERP/WMS system, ensuring all movements are properly recorded.

ยท Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow and prevent shortages.

ยท Assist in maintaining organized storage areas, ensuring proper labeling, location accuracy, and compliance with safety standards.

ยท Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and workflow.

ยท Communicate inventory issues or shortages promptly to the Inventory Manager.
