Position Purpose:
Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company's success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards.
As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will monitor and maintain the accuracy and adequacy of Operating Company inventories. The Inventory Control Coordinator compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and post total inventory records.
  • Compares inventories to office records or computing figures from records.
  • Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjust errors in computation or investigate discrepancies.
  • Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
  • Monitors inventory rotations and make recommendations as needed.
  • Prepares report(s) such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
  • Reviews and investigates daily reports.
  • Maintains shrink at or below company standard.
  • Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective/unusable items.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Daily researching and processing of various Inventory related reports;
    *Daily correspondence with Purchasing, Sales and Transportation Departments to provide support and address inventory related matters.
    *Coordinating, assembling and processing of Returns to Vendors;
    *Daily researching of issues related to Quantities and Quality of warehouse inventory and making adjustments accordingly;
    *Assist with the Checking In and processing of product being returned to the warehouse by delivery drivers;
    *Assist with the repair and processing of damages occurring within the warehouse;
    *Perform miscellaneous functions that may arise to support and assure accurate inventory and quality salable product.
    *Support the Cycle Counting program
  • Checks in Delivery Drivers.
  • Inspects all returning product from daily deliveries and shuttle returns.
  • Verifies returned goods and damaged product with scanner generated print out sheets.
  • Makes decisions about the disposition of returned goods.
  • Re-enters goods into inventory.
  • Checks Delivery Driver route tickets, customer orders and prepare for operations.
  • Maintains accurate records of returns.
  • Processes credits from electronic invoices and other documents on a daily basis.
  • Receives, records and deposits Delivery Drivers monetary receipts of the day 's customer deliveries.
  • Communicates related matters and issues with the Inventory Control department and Transportation department as necessary.
  • Maintains the driver Check-In area to assure cleanliness and sanitation.

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
1+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse environment
Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate general computer skills / Foodstar Experience.
Must be able to work Monday- Friday 7:30am - 4pm with rotating ยฝ day Sundays assigned times and required overtime for the position.
Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift.
Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry.
Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications
3 Years Foodservice Warehouse Experience
Experience with material Handling equipment preferred (Riding Pallet Jack, Hi-Low, Cherry Picker)
Food Safety compliance awareness knowledge
