Job description

Job Title: Inventory Associate I - A A-shift M-F 6am-430pm Location: Orlando, FL Type: 6-month contract Compensation: $28 per hour

Responsibilities • Support fulfillment operations including inventory counting, receiving, and packing. • Receive shipments and unload deliveries from carriers. • Inspect packages arriving at the fulfillment center for quality and compliance. • Perform quality control checks on parts and process according to SOP. • Document receipts and work orders using inventory management tools. • Input data accurately into inventory systems, navigating modules as needed. • Identify and apply appropriate packaging for parts at various workflow stages. • Sort, stage, and move packages or crates to prevent loss and ensure workflow efficiency. • Label and mark parts with identifiers as outlined in SOP. • Properly store parts, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with storage procedures. • Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach-trucks, and electronic pallet jacks, supporting safety and maintenance practices. • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives related to workflow and quality.

Requirements • Experience in fulfillment operations, including inventory counting, receiving, and packing (include years and companies if available). • Ability to receive, inspect, and process shipments according to SOP. • Willingness to operate forklift with training. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Fundamental knowledge of heavy equipment operation, safety procedures, and maintenance. • Strong attention to detail and ability to document and input data accurately. • Good judgment in storage and staging of parts, with ability to perform audits.
