Job description

We are currently seeking an Inventory Control Auditor for our state-of-the-art Lakeland Distribution Center. This position will be responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reconciliations. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, and be self-directed, but also able to work well with multiple departments, including making recommendations, requesting information, and directing others during audits. This position will interact with both internal and external auditors when necessary and provide required assistance and information.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma, college experience is a plus.
  • A 4-year degree in a Business-related field, preferably in Audit or Accounting may be substituted for experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of operational warehouse inventory control experience.
  • Knowledge of distribution with multiple locations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of inventory audit and cycle functions, including complete audit area reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of bar-coding and real-time Inventory movement.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Initiative-taking, self-starting, with effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize or re-prioritize multiple projects.
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, with Microsoft Access being a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours when necessary.
  • This is a salaried position.
  • Position will report to Corporate Director of Inventory.
