Job description

Position Summary: Aluma Form Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist. The Inventory Control Specialist oversees the initiation, implementation, and management of inventory control documentation to maintain accuracy. They support inventory management through standard techniques like cycle counting and audits, assist material handlers, maintain outside inventory locations, coordinate with the Inventory Control Supervisor, and collaborate with manufacturing to enforce inventory procedures and address performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

  1. Initiates, implements, and manages inventory control documentation to ensure inventory accuracy.  
  2. Assist with standard inventory control techniques including cycle counting, yearly physical inventory and parts audits to verify inventory accuracy. 
  3. Assist material handlers. 
  4. Maintenance of outside inventory locations and grounds 
  5. Coordinates activities with Inventory Control Supervisor 
  6. Assisting evaluation of root cause and implement corrective action when not meeting or exceeding metrics related to inventory. 
  7. Assist working with manufacturing to ensure inventory procedures are present and being followed. 

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 2-5+ years of related experience     
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite and ability to learn, navigate and use all proprietary company and equipment software desired. 
  • 2 -5+ years working in a manufacturing production environment 
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems 

Preferred:

  • SAP Experience is preferred
