Collaborate with various departments to develop processes that ensure efficient, compliant, and effective drafting and design solutions. Utilize CAD programs to produce precise technical drawings and layouts, supporting the sales, marketing, production, and technical teams.

Qualifications & Skills
  • BS degree from accredited college or university in an engineering field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience using CAD software in a manufacturing environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks, 3D CAD Modelling, Vault, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented and extremely efficient
  • Possess a wide breadth of knowledge in mathematics, physics, and mechanics
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural/submittal drawings, interpret intent behind drawing requests
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Performance Objectives
  • Ensure a 95% accuracy rate in the technical resources provided, measured through feedback from architects, engineers, customers, and installers.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy of drawings for production purposes, including the generation of material lists that will form the bill of materials within the ERP system.
  • Provide the production team with additional resources, such as material cutting lists, as needed.
  • Ensure efficiency by delivering compliant and accurate safe access design solutions.
  • Demonstrate an appreciation for and the ability to positively resolve issues arising from different cultural perspectives.
  • Adopt a continuous improvement mindset, analyzing processes to identify and implement more efficient methods.
  • Support the Kattcare Team (field support) by addressing drawing-related questions.
  • Maintain corporate-approved drafting standards and engineering drawing package templates.
  • Assist the marketing department by creating comprehensive installation documents, ensuring customers receive accurate and reliable installation guidelines in the field
