Job description

Draper, Inc. has an excellent opportunity for a CAD Designer for our Gym Equipment product line. Below are the essential functions and minimum qualifications.
Essential Functions
  • Prepare design submittal drawings with details and production drawings from customer supplied architectural drawings and sketches.
  • Create and work with bills of material (BOMs) and other construction documents.
  • Develop equipment/material schedules and material takeoffs from drawings and sketches.
  • Create and work with PDF documents using Blue Beam software.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong working knowledge of 3D modeling software (preferably Autodesk Inventor).
  • Experience in building design or structural design is a plus.
  • Knowledge of file storage and life-cycle management software such as Autodesk Vault is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Degree in computer aided-drafting or related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
