You’ll manage servers, networks, and security, lead projects, and provide escalation support for clients across Virginia. This role combines technical leadership, hands-on engineering, and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and manage operating systems, servers, and networks
  • Administer Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 (Defender, Purview, Exchange)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and network issues
  • Perform root cause analysis and optimize system performance
  • Support hardware/software installations and maintain documentation
  • Ensure compliance with security standards (Certificates, BitLocker, Group Policy)

Qualifications

  • Education: BS/BA or equivalent experience
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years in IT service or systems engineering
    • 3–5 years hands-on with network design and server administration
  • Certifications: Advanced Microsoft/Cisco required; VMware preferred
  • Strong scripting and troubleshooting skills
  • Must work onsite in Waynesboro, VA
  • Preferred: Intune, NIST, and CMMC compliance experience
