Job Description
Serves as a primary technical resource and subject-matter expert supporting the Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) environment. This role configures, maintains, and troubleshoots WorkSpace One, Microsoft Intune, and/or Jamf, develops automation scripts, supports mobile and workstation endpoints, and collaborates with multiple organizations to manage the full lifecycle of endpoint devices.
Position requires on-site support.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Configure and maintain WorkSpace One, Intune, and/or Jamf device management platforms.
• Troubleshoot UEM-related issues, including compliance, enrollment, policy failures, and device connectivity.
• Develop, write, and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate system management, deployments, data exports, and reporting.
• Create knowledge and technical documentation for Tier I, II, and III teams.
• Provide mobile device, hardware, and software installation support.
• Assist in developing user documentation and installation procedures.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex endpoint issues requiring advanced technical expertise.
• Work closely with the engineering teams to support ongoing UEM modernization initiatives.
• Support IT projects, including zero-touch deployment workflows, ABM token renewals, OS upgrade readiness, and device lifecycle strategy.
• Interact professionally with personnel during high-visibility or emergency support scenarios.
Required Experience
BS in IT or related field (preferred) and a minimum of five years of related experience. Formal technical training, certifications, and/or additional experience may be substituted for the degree preference.
• Specific required experience:
º 5+ years of experience with WorkSpace One, Microsoft Intune, and/or Jamf.
º 3-5 years of experience with patch management processes.
º 2 years of experience writing and leveraging PowerShell automation.
º 3+ years of experience with BMC Remedy (Incident/Change/Knowledge) or similar ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Experience supporting large enterprise deployments, zero-touch workflows, and mobile security compliance.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on expertise with WorkSpace One, Microsoft Intune, and/or Jamf.
• PowerShell scripting proficiency (automation, compliance reporting, bulk management).
• Strong technical analysis and advanced troubleshooting capability.
• Strong business/systems analysis skills when working with users to capture requirements.
• ITSM platform system experience required (BMC or ServiceNow).
Qualifications:
• Must obtain an agency public trust suitability determination prior to start date
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder-facing skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must maintain a high level of customer service for all support interactions.
• Must have the ability to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced technology environment
• Experience supporting a complex Federal agency enterprise is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as WorkSpace One, Microsoft Intune/M365, Microsoft Endpoint Administration, and Jamf 200/300 are preferred, but not required.
