The Team
We are seeking an Endpoint Hardware Lifecycle Engineer with hands-on Microsoft Intune expertise to join our endpoint management team. This role splits focus between enterprise-level Intune administration and hardware lifecycle management. You'll be responsible for the technical governance of our endpoint ecosystem - from managing device configurations and compliance policies to evaluating and approving new hardware models through benchmarking and vendor coordination.
How you will contribute
Intune & Endpoint Management
  • Maintain Intune configurations including device compliance policies, configuration profiles, application deployment packages, and remediation scripts
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell automation for endpoint management tasks, reporting, and policy enforcement
  • Troubleshoot Intune deployment issues, including application conflicts, policy inheritance, and enrollment failures
  • Manage Windows Autopilot deployments and device enrollment workflows
Hardware Lifecycle & Vendor Management
  • Own the hardware refresh roadmap by tracking vendor EOL timelines and coordinate model transitions with OEMs
  • Conduct technical benchmarking and acceptance testing of proposed laptop models
  • Evaluate devices outside standard configure-to-order offerings for specialized use cases
  • Maintain a centralized hardware lifecycle information system
  • Partner with internal asset management on hardware tracking and lifecycle data
  • Document hardware specifications, compatibility matrices, and approval criteria
Qualifications
  • Prior experience managing Intune. 3-4 years' experience
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Intune solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of endpoint management, security, and compliance using Intune.
  • Familiarity with modern management approaches, including co-management with Configuration Manager.
  • Remediation and platform script experience, as well as PowerShell for automation and customization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience managing small projects and leading initiatives with minimal direction throughout the project lifecycle.
Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate and experience with 3rd Party Patching tools such as Patch My PC.
  • Experience managing Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Implementing and maintaining PowerBI dashboards.
  • Experience with JAMF and Delinea Privilege Manager.

The salary range is $70,000 - $90,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
