OVERVIEW
We're looking for an entry-level IT Support Engineer to join our internal IT team at our Jacksonville headquarters. Working under the direct guidance of senior IT staff, you'll handle day-to-day support requests, help manage our device fleet, and assist with administration across our Microsoft 365 environment and business applications.
This is a hands-on learning role built for someone early in their IT career. You'll be mentored by experienced engineers, gain exposure to enterprise tools and processes, and grow your skills across help desk, endpoint management, and cloud administration. If you're eager to learn, dependable, and enjoy solving problems for end users, this is a strong place to start and grow.
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Own and work day-to-day tickets in the help desk queue, resolving end-user issues and escalating to senior staff as needed
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 tenant administration, including user account creation, license assignment, group membership, and basic permissions under senior oversight
  • Support the full hardware lifecycle for laptops, mobile devices, and tablets, including imaging, deployment, replacement, and returns
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving of IT equipment for field offices across the country
  • Assist with user provisioning, licensing, and access management across business applications and SaaS platforms
  • Handle employee onboarding and offboarding tasks, including account setup and equipment preparation
  • Provide hands-on support at the Jacksonville headquarters, including printer maintenance and conference room AV setup
  • Help maintain accurate IT asset and inventory records
  • Follow established IT policies and procedures, and help document routine workflows

REQUIREMENTS
  • 0-2 years of IT support, help desk, or related experience (internships and coursework count)
  • Basic familiarity with Windows and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Strong willingness to learn and take direction from senior staff
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through
  • Solid communication skills and a customer-service mindset for supporting end users
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred:
  • CompTIA A+ or similar certification (or working toward one)
  • Any exposure to Microsoft 365 administration
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems or help desk tools
  • Basic understanding of mobile device management (Intune, MaaS360, or similar)
  • Basic cybersecurity awareness and IT hygiene best practices
