The Role:

The Outside Sales Manager is responsible for cultivating existing and new customer sales primarily in the private practice, large group practice, and hospital group settings within their assigned territory. The primary responsibility of this position will be identifying and developing new business relationships and offering seamless support to our current client base and their patients This role will work closely with our corporate support professionals and executive leadership team to develop and apply a robust understanding of the unique needs of patients with acute and chronic urologic conditions into the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate a consultative sales process and value-based selling technique to address specific customer, patient, and clinical needs.
  • Grow accounts within the assigned territory, including all sales and ongoing support to achieving assigned sales objectives.
  • Engage and educate clinical support staff on Intouch products, services, and processes.
  • Profile targets from a strategic territory plan and understand the needs, priorities, and inner workings of those organizations and stakeholders within.
  • Execute a fluid strategic account plan that focuses on goals, objectives, detailed tactics, and resources on the attainment of receiving additional referrals.
  • Manage expenses and budget constraints within assigned territory.
  • Interface with manufacturer representatives and patient-related organizations to facilitate and coordinate the successful completion of transactions.
  • Successfully navigate and utilize EMR programs, CRM tools, and territory management tools to optimize time management and ROI.
  • Engage & contact physicians and staff to clarify orders and services to acquire an understanding of all payer requirements.
  • Assist clinicians with documentation requirements.
  • Enable prescribing entities to become self-sufficient through enrollment and utilization in the InTouch referral program.
  • Understand compliance and HIPAA-related materials.
  • Analyze, record, and analyze trends that are observed within sales territory.

Requirements:

  • Degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent education and relevant working experience
  • 1-2+ years of experience in business to business, pharmaceutical, or medical device sales setting.
  • Driver’s license required.
  • Prior knowledge of the medical field, pharmaceutical, devices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive HR-matters with discretion.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Salary:

  • $45,000 - $55,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commissions
