Job description

The Warehouse Supervisor at Superior Beverage will have the opportunity to lead and develop a functional group of associates as a part of the overall Operations team. With a focus on safety, efficiency and operational excellence this Supervisor will lead by example and provide the necessary guidance and tools to enable daily execution of processes and procedures. This manager will be responsible for a team of 20-40 associates in a 500,000 square foot distribution center.
Warehouse Supervisor Shift:
  • Monday through Friday 2nd Shift
  • Start time from 2- Until Production Finish (hiring manager will explain further upon interview)

Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities:
  • Leads a team of associates in a fast-paced, time-bound daily operation
  • Takes a proactive approach to process improvement in an effort to increase efficiency and profitability
  • Maintaining a working relationship with all other departments and effectively communicate opportunities for improvement
  • Ensures that all associates adhere to company policies, procedures and guidelines with the ability to coach, counsel and discipline as necessary
  • Manages and maximizes staffing on a daily basis within budget parameters
  • Oversees proper treatment of damaged and out-of-date product based on standards
  • Instills proper handling of the warehouse and all warehouse equipment with a focus on cleanliness and preventative maintenance
  • Conforms to all OSHA standards
  • Maintains certification to operate material handling equipment

Warehouse Supervisor Skills / Qualifications Preferred:
  • Bachelors Degree with focus on Operations/Logistics, Business or Management or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years Warehouse and Operations experience
  • 3+ years Management/Supervisor experience
  • Familiarity with automated warehouse systems a plus
  • RF experience / knowledge
  • Desire to learn, grow, compete and be successful everyday
  • Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
  • Proficient PC skills including Excel, Word, Gmail and other apps in the gmail suite, etc.
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate various types of material handling equipment
  • Warehouse Supervisor Physical Requirements:
  • Lift and move material 40lbs+, continuously
  • Standing and walking for up to 8 10 hours a day
  • Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation at elevated heights (10 30ft)
  • Bending, stretching and reaching both below the waist and overhead
