Interventional Radiology Supervisor - Full Time - Days - Weill Cornell
We're seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Supervisor to lead a highly skilled imaging team at our Weill Cornell campus. If you're a collaborative radiologic technologist with supervisory experience and a passion for operational excellence, this is your opportunity to help shape the future of imaging while ensuring an outstanding patient experience.
In This Role, You Will:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Interventional Radiology department
  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of imaging professionals
  • Coordinate patient flow and departmental throughput to support efficient, high-quality care
  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies, quality assurance standards, and ACR requirements
  • Provide work direction, training, and ongoing staff support
  • Conduct performance evaluations and recommend personnel actions as appropriate
  • Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate maintenance needs
  • Assist with inventory management and recommend new equipment and supply purchases
  • Support departmental initiatives focused on quality improvement and patient satisfaction
Preferred Criteria
  • Bachelor's degree
  • ARRT Certification in CT or Interventional Radiology (VI)
  • Previous experience supervising radiology staff in a hospital setting
Required Criteria
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
  • New York State Radiological Technologist license
  • Minimum of five years progressive radiology experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, physicians, staff, and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate daily operations, prioritize workflow, and maintain high standards of patient care and service
