Job description

Cath Lab Technologist - 4x10 Hour Shifts

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 4x10 Hours (07:00 - 17:30)

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist with a solid background in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cardiac interventions and assist in a fast-paced Cath Lab environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.
  • Assist with STEMI cases, IABP, Impella, and Tandem Heart procedures.
  • Monitor patient vitals and maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
  • Handle interventional radiology tasks including lines and drains.
  • Participate in on-call schedule, covering 1 shift per week and every 4th weekend.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or related environment.
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) or RCIS.
  • Experience in EP, IR, and vascular procedures is preferred.
  • Ability to float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.
