Greetings,

Position - Java Developer (Ecommerce)

Location - Watertown, MA

Roles & Responsibilities

We have existing java based e-commerce platform (Intershop). We would like this individual to look at our current code base and separate out application specific modules from common modules.

And then create an automatic deployment based of standard template and it's values.

That way any new e-commerce implementation can be stood up with very minimal effort and then specific developers can add additional extensions on top of this base application.

Standing up this base application includes:

 Reading a standard template with application specific needs

 Base storefront application (UI and common modules)

 Integrating with ERPs with existing middle ware connectors Via APIs.

 Integrating with Tax engine and payment solutions using existing middleware connectors via APIs

 Ability to separate out application layer from a platform layer and automate deployments

Required Skills & Qualification

 Bachelor or Master's Degree in Engineering.

 At least 6+ years of Java experience.

 Minimum 4+ years working with tomcat and WAR file deployment mechanics

 Minimum 4+ years of experience with REST APIs and REST services and JDBC interface

 Reading a standard template with application specific needs

 Base storefront application (UI and common modules)

 Integrating with ERPs with existing middle ware connectors Via APIs.

 Sound knowledge on Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concept.

 Jenkins and Azure cloud experience is a plus

 Prior experience with e-commerce is a plus

 Self-starter and can work with minimal guidance.

 Good communication skills.
