Your Day-to-Day Contributions Include:
  • Assisting during surgical operations by prepping and neatly organizing the operating room environment
  • Upholding sterile fields and following strict infection control guidelines
  • Providing instruments and essential supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants as needed
  • Preparing and managing surgical instruments throughout each procedure
  • Monitoring and organizing surgical supplies ensuring everything is set for every operation
  • Working in harmony with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical personnel for smooth service delivery
  • Keeping precise surgical counts and maintaining thorough documentation
What You'll Need:
  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary
Required Certifications:
  • Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification essential
  • BLS certification - or the ability to secure it within 90 days of employment
Essential Skills and Qualities:
  • Knowledge of diverse surgical instruments and protocols across various specialties
