Job description

Purpose
The Event Video Producer will work with the Digital Media Production Director on all video production requests from all Pine Crest Constituents on both campuses to include creating, editing and distributing content, recording and live streaming, technical setup and tear down, and equipment maintenance and
inventory.

Essential Job Functions

  • Supports the School’s mission statement and the philosophy of the department and adheres to School policies and procedures, including but not limited to what is outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Video recording and live streaming of academic and extracurricular events and projects during school hours and during performance/presentation schedules after school throughout the school year
  • Operation of Sports Broadcasting technical engineering and operation of PCTV Sports truck
  • Creation of video instructional design elements for Pine Crest neXt courses. This includes but is not limited to filming interviews and acquiring b-roll, designing graphics, video editing, media asset management, and more
  • Capturing behind-the-scenes footage of Fine Arts rehearsals for the creation of Fine Arts “The Making Of” documentaries
  • Assists in the production of all video related marketing content to support the Marketing and Communications office
  • Produce Athletic highlight and hype video content that showcases school Athletic Teams and promotes school spirit
  • Edits all acquired content
  • Assists with the cataloging and IT management of video assets
  • Assists with maintenance and inventory of Digital Media Production acquisition equipment and post production workstations
  • Assists in software upgrades and installations
  • Uploads video content to distribution channels such as Vimeo
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Department Supervisor or their designee

Job Qualifications
Education High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Production acquisition (camera) equipment, as well as post production software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and/or Avid
  • Experience with video encoding, live streaming, broadband delivery, and online content distribution preferred
  • Experience with camera support equipment such as dollies, stabilizers, and remote aerial videography preferred

Certifications and Licenses: Certifications in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere CC, and/or Avid are preferred
