Job description
Our client, a business manufacturing and supply company, is looking for a Financial Support Services Specialist for their Dublin, OH/Memphis, TN location.
Responsibilities:- Maintains and analyzes accounts and financial data to ensure accounts and variances are accurately stated; and conducts timely reconciliations.
- Performs root cause analysis and research to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintains effective and productive relationships with both internal and external business partners.
- Handles incoming requests and communicates status/resolution to requestor and relevant stakeholders.
- Serves as a financial liaison responsible for receivable and relationship management; partners with internal and external business partners.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supports the organization's quality program(s).
- Education & Licensing Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Experience Four (4) years of experience in the accounting field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
- Leadership/management/motivational skills.
- Analytical and interpretive skills.
- Strong organization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies. Work Environment:
