Location: Birmingham, Alabama (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. This role is responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, engaging video content that supports a variety of digital platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong technical editing skills, a keen eye for storytelling, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Edit raw video footage into a cohesive final product using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Review and select the best shots and sequences from raw material to create a coherent narrative.
  • Enhance videos with visual effects, graphics, text overlays, and animations.
  • Edit and mix audio elements, including dialogue, music, and sound effects.
  • Adjust and enhance the color, contrast, and brightness of video footage.
  • Create smooth transitions between shots and scenes to maintain video flow.
  • Collaborate with directors, producers, and content creators to understand and execute the video's purpose.
  • Review and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine video projects.
  • Organize and manage video files to ensure projects are well-structured and accessible.
  • Adapt video content for various formats and platforms, including social media, websites, and mobile devices.
