RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Software Dev Engineer IV in Redmond, WA.
Responsibilities:
* Build and CICD team is responsible for developer experience, devops, CICD and production services
* Participate in all phases of software development from requirements through implementation and test to operations
* Participate in the development design, integration and improvement of the software; This includes designing and implementing a wide range of software using AWS stack, sometimes requiring partnership with low level embedded code software systems and architecting scalable design solutions for software distribution and deployment for satellites
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
* 8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
* 8+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience (preferred)
* 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience Golang/ PHP/Python/ Java backend services programming
* 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
* Software architecture and design and development
* Understanding of AWS stack - IAM, Lambdas, cloud watch, API gateways, EC2
* CDK constructs and pipelines
* Build tools for developer productivity, monitoring and observability metrics dashboard
* Experience as a mentor and leading a development project
We are looking for an Engineer with experience in system design and backend services along with advanced knowledge of AWS cloud services infrastructure such as Dynamo DB, Lambdas, Cloud watch, API gateways, CDK and Pipelines. Proficiency in Golang/Rust/TypeScript/Python is required. This person must be able to disambiguate high level of ambiguity and unknowns, design flexible solutions and able to succeed within an open, collaborative environment.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
