  • 7+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Subject matter expert within business area/specialization with understanding of interrelationships of different disciplines
  • Expert skill using with business intelligence applications and/or cloud services 
  • Expert knowledge of reporting capabilities of existing ERP, CRM and/or database software vendors 
  • Expert skill using statistical methods, mathematical techniques, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis
  • Advanced skill with data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R
  • Expert knowledge of reporting/dashboarding best practices and data research and root cause analysis techniques
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-makers
  • Expert knowledge of data integration, cleaning and validation techniques

  • Experience analyzing and synthesizing trends from Bureau data such as Ignite or Ascend and digital customer experience data

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear insights, compelling analytical narratives, actionable recommendations and innovative solutions that drive measurable business impact
  • Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources, including structured and unstructured data sets, to drive insights into business performance
  • Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, dashboards, and BI solutions
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns and prepare ongoing reports and data visualizations (e.g., charts, dashboards, heat maps) in order to support business decisions
  • Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems
  • Use analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks, and profits of new business initiatives
  • Understand data gaps and tie data components together for visualizations
  • Communicate findings and insight to stakeholders and provide business strategy recommendations for optimizing business performance 
  • Provide reporting solutions and respond to ad-hoc report requests across multiple business areas
  • Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements
  • Assist with the development and enhancement of practices, procedures, and instructions
  • Develop and maintain strong working  relationships with team members, subject matter experts, and leaders; work with senior management on complex issues
  • Lead medium to large projects and initiatives
  • Mentor lower level staff by providing guidance and expert judgment on analytical methods, interpretation of results, business implications, and reviewing analytical work products to provide feedback ensuring consistency, quality and business relevance
  • Manage a portfolio of dashboards, monitor use and performance, and make recommendations to management for enhancement or changes
  • Anticipate business needs and proactively identify opportunities where analytics can inform decision-making and improve business performance
  • Connect analytical findings to broader business objectives and strategic priorities
