W2 Data Analyst W/heavy Mortgage + Financials

Data Analyst Specialist (Lead Financial Analyst)

6 month contract

McLean VA- onsite 3 days per week

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, finance, economics, statistics or related fields.
  • 5 plus years of work experience, knowledge of mortgage financing is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in programming languages include python and SQL.
  • Knowledge of Unix operating system and shell scripts.
  • Keys to Success in this Role:
  • Deep curiosity to learn with critical thinking.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong data analysis ability.
  • Ability to work under limited direction independently to identify issues and solve problems.

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of finance terms. Python, SQL, familiar with Unix environment for research purposes, BA in Computer science, finance, economics required. Prefer mortgage experience
