In this pivotal role, you will drive innovation through strategic component selection, rigorous qualification processes, and proactive lifecycle management. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will optimize performance, cost efficiency, and supply chain resilience while upholding the highest standards of reliability.

If you thrive in a fast-paced, global environment and have a passion for cutting-edge electronics, we invite you to apply and become an integral part of our mission.

What you will be working on
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend engineering components for new and current product designs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality sourcing.
  • Optimize component selection for performance, cost-effectiveness, and long-term availability.
  • Ensure components meet industry and regulatory standards (e.g., RoHS, UL, ISO).
  • Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards, including RoHS, UL, and ISO.
  • Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for non-conforming components.
  • Collaborate with design teams to validate component performance in real-world applications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date component libraries and part specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with supply chain teams to identify alternative components and mitigate risks related to obsolescence or shortages.
  • Liaise with external manufacturers to resolve technical issues and optimize sourcing strategies.
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis to optimize component selection without compromising quality.
  • Proactively identify alternative components to address potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Manage change orders and develop mitigation strategies for component lifecycle risks.
  • Proven hands-on experience in component selection, qualification, and supplier coordination.
  • Expertise in failure analysis, component lifecycle management, and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with failure analysis and component lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of electronic components and their applications in circuit design.
  • Function as a subject matter expert responsible for the lifecycle management of both electronic and mechanical components.
What we are looking for

  • Up to 3 years of experience in engineering or technical project management (internships and co-ops count).
  • Coursework or exposure to Systems Engineering, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain.
  • Familiarity with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP S4 Hana).
  • Basic proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (e.g., CREO).
  • Understanding of ASME Y14.5 GD&T practices.
What sets you apart
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in complex obsolescence management.
  • Expertise in part standardization application and best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of EEE parts, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Extensive exposure to Configuration Management CMII practices (CMII certification preferred).
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including CPIM methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with PLM systems such as the Teamcenter platform.
  • Proficiency in component management software and supplier databases.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, Approved Vendor List (AVL) management, and obsolescence forecasting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of industry regulations (e.g., RoHS, UL, IPC, ISO).
  • Familiarity with electronic component testing methodologies and reliability assessments.
  • Strong grasp of electronic components and their applications in circuit design.
