Job Summary

We are hiring a Safety Assistant to support daily safety tasks on-site. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates looking to begin or build their career in occupational health and safety. Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required.

Expected start date: March 16, 2026

Responsibilities

  • Support the Safety Coordinator and Safety Officer with day-to-day safety operations
  • Help conduct routine safety checks and inspections
  • Assist in maintaining safety documents and records (e.g., attendance logs, SDS, reports)
  • Set up and maintain PPE supplies and safety signage on-site
  • Translate or interpret safety instructions during meetings or training sessions
  • Report any unsafe behavior or conditions to supervisors
  • Participate in safety drills and assist in emergency procedures
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in safety or engineering is a plus
  • Previous internship or work experience in industrial, construction, or engineering environment preferred
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Willingness to work in field conditions and follow safety guidelines
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin
