Position Overview

Summit Mind Mental Healthcare Center is seeking a committed and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team as a full-time counselor in a remote telehealth setting. This role will involve providing therapeutic services to a diverse array of clients, focusing on their mental health needs, treatment planning, and recovery objectives.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of telehealth work, allowing you to provide care in a remote setting while maintaining a balance between professional responsibilities and personal life. You will be expected to adhere to scheduled working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients' needs and to formulate individualized treatment plans based on best practices.
  • Implement various evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, tailored to the unique challenges faced by individuals, couples, and families.
  • Lead psychoeducational and support groups aimed at community building and addressing common mental health issues.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.
  • Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and intervention for at-risk patients.
  • Educate patients about their mental health conditions, potential treatment routes, and community resources to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, utilizing advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.
  • Stay updated with current research, trends, and advancements in mental health therapy to continuously enhance care delivery.

Qualifications
