As a Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships at Dycom, you will manage and expand relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on the Hyperscaler and Cloud Infrastructure segments. Your primary objective is to identify and secure new business partners to drive revenue and long-term company growth. You will collaborate with the executive team to source, develop, and execute strategic partnerships across the telecom sector. This role requires a deep focus on the Telecom and Cloud ecosystems. You will also engage with traditional telecom carriers to enhance Dycom's market position. Success in this position is defined by your ability to turn new infrastructure opportunities into executed contracts.

What you'll do
  • Lead the end-to-end negotiation and execution of contracts for fiber deployment, construction services, and licensing agreements.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and hyperscaler expansion plans to build data-driven business cases for new partnerships.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align corporate strategy with current portfolio risks, infrastructure trends, and organizational capabilities.
  • Create and present financial models, market analyses, and briefing materials to senior management to assess the value of potential projects.
  • Track and manage all contractual obligations and ensure partnerships meet company objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure operational readiness for new hyperscaler and telecom service agreements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you'll need
  • To be 18 years of age or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in Business Development, with a proven track record of securing new business and managing multi-million dollar accounts.
  • Proficient skill in Microsoft and Google Suites.

Additional qualifications
  • Experience in Sales or similar role is a plus, demonstrating strong sales acumen.
  • Expert interpersonal and negotiation skills, with extensive project management and diplomacy skills.
  • Proven ability to work with individuals at all levels of an organization, both internally and externally, in a positive way.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal oversight and/or guidance.

Physical abilities & exposures
  • Routinely:
    • Able to travel domestically (approximately 50-60% of the time) by car and air.
    • Engage in standard office activities such as standing, sitting, and using computers for extended periods.
