Job description

Responsibilities
Team Introduction: The TikTok Content Operations team develops and executes strategies to grow our content ecosystem through management, partnerships, and key programs. We work closely with Product teams to understand publishers and creator cohorts and set priorities, while collaborating with cross-functional partners to drive efforts forward within the evolving content landscape. Our mission is to facilitate our Creator and Athlete community's growth and development, drive high quality content production and increase Athlete engagement and product adoption through scaled content and education programs. About the Role: As an MBA intern, you will act as a Strategic Lead responsible for optimizing how we support our highest-impact sports partners in North America. This is an individual contributor role designed for a high-level thinker who can bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and tactical creator growth. You will be tasked with evaluating current management frameworks and developing new, scalable strategies to ensure TikTok remains the premier destination for top-tier athletes and sports creators. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early. About the Internship: TikTok's internship program offers students real-world exposure and hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic industry. You'll participate in impactful projects, development workshops, and social events, all while building core professional skills. This is your opportunity to contribute meaningfully and explore a potential career path with us. Responsibilities - Strategic Roadmap Development: Analyze the current North American sports landscape to identify white-space opportunities for athlete acquisition and retention. - Vertical Optimization: Develop a "playbook" for content strategy and product adoption specifically for pro athletes, focusing on how to translate global business priorities into the NA market. - (XFN) Leadership: Serve as a strategic liaison between Marketing and Product teams to align creator needs with broader business goals - Data-Driven Insights: Establish feedback loops between managed creators and the Product team, using a "test-and-learn" approach to advocate for features that drive athlete engagement. - Narrative Excellence: Partner with the Marketing and Comms teams to build compelling case studies that reinforce TikTok's position as the global home for sports culture. - Operational Efficiency: Evaluate existing creator support workflows and recommend scalable improvements to handle high-touch athlete accounts more effectively.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Current MBA Candidate: Completed a bachelor's degree and currently pursuing an MBA degree - Strategic Experience: Experience in sports management, digital media, consulting, or business development. - Framework Thinking: Proven ability to take a nebulous business problem and turn it into a structured, scalable framework. - Communication: Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and external agencies. - Adaptability: Experience working in fast-paced environments where KPIs may shift based on market trends. Preferred Qualifications: - Analytical Rigor: Proficiency in using data to tell a story and drive decision-making. - Creator Economy: Understanding of social media monetization, algorithm mechanics, and the evolving athlete-as-a-brand landscape. - Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects from ideation to execution with minimal supervision. - Industry Expertise: Deep passion for and knowledge of the sports ecosystem (Leagues, Teams, Athletes, and Agencies).
