Location: TX/NY/VA - Weekly once onsite
Duration: 12 months
Job Description: Looking for a Front End Software Engineer,
What You'll Do:
  • Work with a team of developers to drive customer savings across a variety of online merchants
  • Utilize a ticketing-based workflow prioritized by a product/project manager to expand and maintain Capital One Shopping site experiences
  • Perform software development on Front End Applications leveraging a test-driven development pattern
  • Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community
  • Utilize programming languages like JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), HTML/CSS, and TypeScript, open source frameworks, web services, and work on cross-browser and cross-device development

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, React, Angular, Node, TypeScript, or Java
