Job Summary:
Canfield Scientific is a world-leading developer of specialized photographic systems for medical practices and research organizations. They are seeking a Software Developer in Test to ensure the quality of their systems by designing and maintaining automated tests, collaborating on system design, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Create test strategies for functional, regression, integration and system testing
โ€ข Design and implement strategies and robust automated testing frameworks for complex systems
โ€ข Write clean, maintainable automation test code using languages such as C#, Python, or Java
โ€ข Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
โ€ข Work alongside development on the systems design and system testing strategies
โ€ข Communicate effectively with all stakeholders on the strategies and status
โ€ข Maintain strong project management skills ensuring all steps of designated projects are completed
โ€ข Collaborate with leadership on release readiness and risk assessment
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree, preferably in computer science, engineering, or technology
โ€ข 5+ years of industry experience in system testing of Windows, Mac, mobile and web applications
โ€ข Strong programming skills in C#, Python or Java
โ€ข Demonstrated experience with automation tools Selenium, Ranorex, Squish, Appium
โ€ข Experience with analyzing test results, reviewing logs and driving resolutions
โ€ข Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and API testing tools
โ€ข Proficient using Git and version control systems
โ€ข Complete back-end testing using APIs and SQL queries
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience with CI/CD tools such Jenkins and testing peripheral devices, graphics/imaging software
โ€ข Performance testing tools such as JMeter
โ€ข Familiarity with Docker Containerization
