About Astra Wear

Astra Wear is a female-founded Pilates brand inspired by movement, wellness, and the women who do it all. We create grip socks designed to take you from the studio to your everyday life combining performance, comfort, and style in every step.


As a growing startup, we're looking for a creative, driven, and social-media-obsessed intern to join us as we continue building the brand. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the founder and gain hands-on experience in content creation, influencer marketing, events, and brand building.


Position Overview

The Social Media & Brand Marketing Intern will support Astra Wear across content creation, social media strategy, influencer partnerships, photoshoots, pop-up events, and day-to-day brand operations.


This role is perfect for someone passionate about wellness, Pilates, fashion, social media, and startup culture who wants real-world experience helping grow an emerging brand.


Please note: This internship is unpaid and eligible for college credit.


Responsibilities

Social Media & Marketing

  • Assist with content planning and scheduling across Instagram and TikTok
  • Support content creation, including filming, editing, and trend research
  • Help track social media performance and identify growth opportunities
  • Assist with influencer outreach, gifting, and partnership management

Brand & Creative

  • Contribute ideas for future collections, collaborations, and campaigns
  • Assist with photoshoots, content days, and pop-up events
  • Help create marketing materials and creative assets using Canva and Photoshop
  • Support email marketing initiatives and product launches

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program and eligible for academic credit
  • Passionate about wellness, Pilates, fashion, and social media
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Experience with Canva, TikTok, and Instagram
  • Reliable transportation for occasional in-person shoots and events
