Job description

Job Title: Investment Banking Associate - Tech-Enabled Services
Position Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking an energetic, ambitious, and experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our growing Tech-Enabled Services group. In this role, you will play a central execution lead on complex advisory transactions, including sell-side and buy-side M&A, equity and debt financings, and strategic capital raises.
Positioned between senior leadership and junior team members, you will serve as a pivotal bridge-taking ownership of financial models, driving transaction execution, leading deal materials, and directly managing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Execution & Valuation
  • Lead day-to-day execution of M&A advisory, debt, and equity capital market transactions across the tech-enabled services, SaaS, digital transformation, and IT services sub-sectors.
  • Build, review, and oversee detailed 3-statement financial models, LBOs, DCFs, merger accretion/dilution analyses, and sum-of-the-parts valuations.
  • Direct and participate in due diligence processes, managing virtual data rooms (VDRs) and interfacing directly with client executive teams, PE sponsors, and legal/accounting advisers.

Deal Material & Presentation Generation
  • Lead the drafting and creation of high-impact pitch books, Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and board materials.
  • Translate complex financial analyses and industry data into clear, compelling qualitative narratives for buyers and investors.

Leadership, Mentorship & Team Development
  • Manage, train, and mentor analysts and summer interns, providing constructive feedback and overseeing the quality and accuracy of their work product.
  • Champion a supportive, collaborative team environment focused on professional development and career growth.

Client & Market Engagement
  • Serve as a core point of contact for corporate executives, founders, and private equity clients.
  • Conduct ongoing research on market trends, competitive positioning, and M&A opportunities in tech-enabled services.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: 2-4 years of direct Investment Banking experience (as an Analyst or Associate) or 1-2 years post-MBA experience in a leading investment bank or advisory firm.
  • Sector Focus: Strong analytical interest or prior deal experience in Tech-Enabled Services, TMT, Business Services, Software, or related sectors.
  • Financial Modeling Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial valuation methodologies.
  • Communication & Presence: Exceptional verbal and written presentation skills with executive presence suitable for C-suite and client interaction.
  • Licensing: Active FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 (or SIE) required, or ability to obtain within an agreed timeframe.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field with a strong academic track record (MBA preferred).

Why Join Us? (Culture, Mentorship & Pay)
