Job Description: Electrical Controls Engineer - Heat Treat Processes Team Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join the Heat Treat Processes Team. This role requires an experienced software programmer with a strong background in manufacturing support, particularly in the development and enhancement of database-driven applications and controls systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to day-to-day operational support, application enhancements, and long-term AI-driven initiatives aimed at improving predictive maintenance capabilities. Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Support (30%):
    • Perform day-to-day PC and server-based updates.
    • Provide technical support for manufacturing systems and equipment.
  • Application Enhancements (30-40%):
    • Develop and enhance applications using C#, C++, and .NET.
    • Update and optimize backend databases (SQL, relational database systems).
    • Support new equipment integration on the production floor.
  • Long-Term Initiatives (30%):
    • Collaborate on AI modeling projects to develop predictive maintenance capabilities.
