Description:

Ensure all material transactions are performed in a timely manner and all information is accurate in the ERP system. Examples of tasks a material handler may perform are receiving, kitting, issuing and cycle counting.

  • Ensure that all material is correctly transacted on and entered into the ERP software.
  • Follow the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) or Return Material Authorization (RMA) process when discrepancies are found and report to appropriate personnel.
  • Use problem solving skills to troubleshoot material discrepancy.
  • Put away materials to appropriate locations.
  • Deliver materials to departments as needed and requested.
  • Deliver and pickup material from sub contractors.
  • Work safely, following all safety precautions and minimizing safety hazards.
  • Keep materials and work area clean, organized and free from clutter.
  • Ensure all material and equipment is organized, used and stored properly.
  • Complete projects or any other functions as assigned by management.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist in physical inventories as needed.
Requirements:
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements.
  • Experience operating a standard forklift (preferred)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Demonstrates a team mentality
  • Good Time Management Skills
