Middle and High School Mathematics Teacher (Part-Time)

Position Overview

ย 

Dwight Global Online School, which was recently named the #1 best online high school in the United States by niche.com. Dwight Global Online School is seeking an experienced and innovative mathematics teacher to teach virtual classes.ย 

ย 

The ideal candidate is a flexible and innovative team player with a gift for igniting the spark of genius in online students around the world.ย  The person should have experience teaching various math levels to students aged 11-18. The range of subjects required include: Foundations of Middle School math, Algebra I, Algebra II & Trig, and Precalculus. Candidates that only teach one of the subjects may still apply but please note this in your cover letter.ย  Though this position is remote, the teacher may be located anywhere, and the teacher should be available to teach synchronous classes during the late afternoon and evening in Eastern Time. The classes will start in September 2026; with course preparation beginning in August 2026.

Qualifications

ย 
  • Undergraduate and/or Graduate degree in Math Education, mathematics, or a related field preferred
  • At least three years of experience teaching middle and/or high school level learners
  • Experience working, teaching, and collaborating online preferred
