Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs through virtual interviews, ensuring a thorough understanding of their challenges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs of each client, adapting strategies over time to ensure effective care.
• Maintain continuous communication with supervisors and allied health professionals about client progress, utilizing a collaborative approach to care.
• Document all client interactions meticulously through an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, including progress notes and treatment updates.
• Facilitate therapeutic home visits and assessments when necessary, coordinating logistics and safety measures in advance.
• Engage in regular interdisciplinary team meetings to share client updates and develop collective strategies for client success.
• Organize and provide training to staff and interns to ensure high-quality delivery of care across treatment plans.
• Illustrate ongoing follow-up with clients to evaluate their progress and feelings regarding the established treatment strategies.
• Serve as an ambassador for mental health awareness, helping to de-stigmatize mental illness and advocate for essential resources within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, providing counseling services to both adults and youth. Our client base may include individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse challenges. You will play a pivotal role in helping our clients navigate their mental health journeys, equipping them with the tools and strategies necessary to overcome obstacles and live fuller lives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Texas is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential to ensure you can provide effective care.
• Demonstrated specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance use will enhance your candidacy.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical counseling standards, ensuring compliance in all client interactions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster openness and connection with clients.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Proficiency in EMR systems and related telehealth technologies to deliver seamless service.

Preferred Experience

We highly value candidates with specialization in certain therapeutic techniques or modalities, particularly family therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment. Compensation and Benefits

• The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, depending on experience and caseload availability.
