About the Organization

At Mind Teletherapy Counseling Center, we believe in the powerful integration of mental and physical healthcare to foster overall well-being. Our mission is to provide accessible, affordable, and customized mental health services to individuals regardless of their location. Our team is composed of passionate mental health professionals who are committed to bringing this mission to life every day. By utilizing teletherapy and innovative communication strategies, we ensure that comprehensive care is available whenever and wherever it is needed.

Work Environment

This position operates remotely, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while still engaging in meaningful patient interactions through teletherapy platforms. Although you will be working from home, you will remain an integral part of a collaborative outpatient office environment, engaging regularly with a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to patient care. Our remote structure supports modern tools and electronic medical records (EMR) systems to streamline communication and record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Mind Teletherapy Counseling Center, you will:

  • Assess client needs through detailed consultations, developing individualized treatment plans that align with patients' therapeutic goals.
  • Conduct regular therapy sessions via video or phone calls, aiming to build a supportive therapeutic alliance that fosters trust and openness.
  • Continuously evaluate and adapt treatment strategies based on client progress and feedback, ensuring responsiveness to the evolving needs of your patients.
  • Document all interactions and maintain meticulous records of treatment plans and patient outcomes through our EMR system.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and develop comprehensive strategies to improve patient care.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health, coping strategies, and available resources to promote community awareness and reduce stigma.
  • Provide crisis intervention as necessary, employing appropriate techniques to assess imminent risk and ensure safety.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse range of client groups, including adults, children, and families facing various mental health challenges. You will address issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma, substance misuse, and relationship difficulties. Your expertise in family therapy, couples therapy, or trauma-informed care will be highly valued in helping clients navigate their unique circumstances.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating your capability to provide effective therapeutic interventions.
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems and modern technology to enhance client interactions and maintain administrative efficiency.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and build rapport with a wide range of clients from various backgrounds.
Preferred Experience

Experience in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling will set candidates apart. A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice is crucial for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with your experience and caseload demand. Benefits include:

  • Flexible work hours to promote a healthy work-life balance.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Life and malpractice insurance for your peace of mind.
  • Continuous training and professional development opportunities to advance your counseling skills.
  • A welcoming environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of your clients.

At Mind Teletherapy Counseling Center, we are committed to fostering your professional growth. We provide opportunities for advancement within our organization, encouraging our counselors to take leadership roles as they grow in experience and confidence. Regular training sessions will enhance your skills, helping you stay at the forefront of the mental health field.
