• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of patients' mental health needs using recognized standards, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), to formulate tailored treatment plans.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress through continuous assessment, adjusting treatment strategies to align with their evolving needs and mental health goals.
• Utilize digital platforms for maintaining accurate and timely documentation of treatment records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and departmental protocols.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and external providers to formulate cohesive treatment plans that encompass cultural sensitivities and personal aspirations.
• Facilitate effective referral processes to connect patients with appropriate resources and support services within the healthcare community.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to students, interns, and junior clinicians, with opportunities to engage in peer review and clinical training initiatives depending on your clinical supervisor's direction.

This position primarily focuses on patients affected by cancer diagnoses. You will support individuals and families dealing with the complex psychological and emotional challenges that arise from cancer-related experiences. Your role will involve delivering compassionate care while embracing a culturally diverse patient population, addressing unique needs across different backgrounds.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of California.
• Proficient in using telemedicine tools and technology to provide care and maintain medical records.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in team-oriented and independent settings.
• Willingness and ability to lift up to 25 pounds and engage in physical activities typically required in a clinical setting.

• A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience working in mental health settings, particularly with outpatient therapy.
• Experience in a community health environment or with cancer patients is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and commitment to ongoing professional development.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience.
