As part of your role, you will be primarily engaged in a climate-controlled remote setting, allowing you to connect with patients efficiently. While interactions may include collaborative efforts with department members and healthcare providers, the virtual format facilitates direct patient engagement through telehealth platforms, ensuring prompt access to mental health support.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients’ mental health status, utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to inform diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect a comprehensive understanding of the cultural diversity and specific needs of the patients we serve. Collaborate with patients to align on care objectives and desired outcomes.
• Monitor patients’ progress continuously, implementing tailored interventions and strategies designed to support their mental health diagnoses effectively.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatment, including progress notes and compliance with regulatory requirements, utilizing contemporary technology and documentation systems.
• Act as a resource for patients and their families, coordinating referrals and facilitating connection with additional treatment providers as needed.
• Educate and mentor students, interns, and volunteers within the clinic, contributing to a comprehensive learning environment that promotes professional growth.
• In collaboration with clinical supervisors, engage in peer reviews and clinical discussions to enhance the skills and cohesiveness of our team.

The primary focus of this role is to provide vital outpatient therapy services to individuals and families navigating the emotional and psychological complexities of a cancer diagnosis. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid State Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential for the role.

• Experience in oncology counseling or mental health therapy with specific knowledge of the psychological implications of cancer diagnoses is preferred.
• Demonstrated excellence in patient-centered care and the ability to develop strong therapeutic alliances with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and management of patient information.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications.
