Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to develop effective treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each client.
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions using a variety of modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure that clients receive comprehensive and collaborative care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, adhering to ethical standards as well as HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all information is current and accessible.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by staying updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health counseling, and actively participate in workshops and training sessions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with a variety of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your ability to build rapport and establish therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds is paramount to their recovery journeys. Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's or Doctoral degree.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling services, ideally in a clinical outpatient setting.
  • Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertinent to counseling practice.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, contingent on your caseload and experience.
