This remote position is anchored within a community health clinic framework, which means that while your work is conducted from a home office, you will have the opportunity to engage with a growing network of healthcare professionals collaboratively focused on delivering holistic care. The majority of your interactions will be with clients on an appointment basis, which allows for a tailored and flexible work schedule aimed at ensuring an optimal work-life balance.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to develop effective treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each client.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions using a variety of modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure that clients receive comprehensive and collaborative care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, adhering to ethical standards as well as HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all information is current and accessible.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health counseling, and actively participate in workshops and training sessions.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with a variety of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your ability to build rapport and establish therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds is paramount to their recovery journeys. This role not only helps clients achieve their personal goals but also contributes to the overall mission of enhancing emotional wellness in the community.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's or Doctoral degree.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling services, ideally in a clinical outpatient setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertinent to counseling practice.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to foster trust and connection with clients.
• Competency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and related documentation technologies.

• Specialization in areas such as trauma recovery, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or couples counseling is advantageous.
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to develop holistic treatment plans.
• Demonstrable ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, contingent on your caseload and experience.
