This is a remote role, designed to fit the lifestyle of modern therapists while ensuring flexible access to clients. • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth, ensuring a personalized approach to each client's needs.
• Administer bio-psycho-social assessments to create tailored treatment plans that address clients' specific challenges.
• Develop and implement coping and social skills strategies, anger management techniques, and interventions to reduce risk behaviors such as self-injury or aggression.
• Support clients in enhancing decision-making skills to better manage behavioral challenges at home.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers and community support staff, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients and their families.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, DAP notes, and progress reports, adhering to established deadlines.
• Participate in monthly team meetings and fulfill mandatory weekly reporting requirements to ensure alignment with organizational standards and goals.

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will work primarily with adults facing a multitude of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and may present with complex mental health needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact by employing trauma-informed care principles and utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to individual circumstances.

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or a related discipline.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in New York State.
• Comprehensive clinical mental health training and post-internship professional experience working with adults in a therapeutic setting.
• Familiarity with the DSM-V for assessments and diagnostics.
• Experience in creating treatment plans, setting treatment goals, and documenting progress notes.
• Proficiency in various counseling approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Gestalt Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma response strategies.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage caseload documentation efficiently.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development, including participation in crisis intervention training.

• Experience with behavioral support strategies to foster positive outcomes in clients’ lives.
• Utilization of telehealth platforms to deliver effective therapy services.
• Previous involvement in community outreach programs or collaborative care initiatives.
