As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate the psychological needs of clients and developing personalized treatment plans that prioritize cultural diversity and individual circumstances.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to provide outpatient therapy that effectively addresses the mental health challenges faced by children and families affected by cancer or similar stressors.
• Regularly monitoring patient progress and adapting treatment strategies based on ongoing evaluations and outcomes.
• Preparing and maintaining accurate clinical documentation, including treatment records and reports, leveraging current technologies in adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborating with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive, actionable treatment plans focused on clearly defined objectives and outcomes.
• Coordinating referrals and linking clients with additional resources and services to support their mental health journey.
• Providing mentorship and education to students, interns, and volunteers, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Participating in peer reviews and chart audits under the guidance of your clinical supervisor to ensure quality care and practitioner development.

The Mental Health Therapist will work primarily with children and families navigating the emotional complexities associated with a cancer diagnosis. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
