The work setting is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a climate-controlled professional environment. You will engage in daily interactions with department members and other healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless patient care. Your role will include regular assessments and consultations, ensuring that you maintain close connections with both patients and colleagues in a supportive office atmosphere.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and evaluate patients’ mental health statuses effectively, using appropriate tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).

• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, ensuring they are culturally relevant and tailored to meet the specific needs of diverse patient populations.

• Continuously monitor patients’ progress and implement necessary interventions to support mental health diagnoses, fostering improvement and recovery.

• Prepare and maintain accurate, timely treatment records and clinical documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and department protocols.

• Work collaboratively with patients and their families to design comprehensive treatment strategies that align with their treatment goals and include input from all stakeholders involved.

• Establish and maintain effective referral systems to bridge patients with appropriate treatment services and resources, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• Contribute to the education and mentoring of interns, residents, and volunteers, sharing expertise to cultivate the next generation of healthcare providers.

• Engage in peer review and support clinical team development as needed under the guidance of your clinical supervisor.

This position primarily serves individuals and families affected by cancer, providing specialized care that addresses their unique emotional and psychological challenges. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to approach patients with empathy and respect while utilizing therapeutic methods that promote healing and resilience.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working in a mental health setting, preferably within outpatient care.

• Experience providing support to patients dealing with chronic illness, particularly in oncology or palliative care environments.

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
