• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients dealing with the emotional and psychological ramifications of a cancer diagnosis. Utilize tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to accurately evaluate and diagnose when necessary.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are responsive to the unique needs of each patient, reflecting their cultural backgrounds and personal preferences.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress, adjusting therapeutic strategies and interventions to ensure optimal care and support throughout treatment.
• Maintain meticulous treatment records and ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards, leveraging current technology to enhance record accuracy and accessibility.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to create a robust treatment plan that aligns with the patient's goals and anticipated outcomes.
