Working remotely, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring availability for patient sessions and team meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders in alignment with the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. You will create individualized treatment plans that acknowledge cultural diversity and address any specific needs within the patient population.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions through ongoing patient progress assessments, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Document all patient interactions meticulously, preparing and maintaining treatment records and reports punctually and accurately, complying with state regulations and departmental protocols.
  • Collaborate with patients and their families to formulate a comprehensive treatment plan, clearly communicating goals and interventions that align with the patient's mental health needs.
  • Facilitate referrals to appropriate services and resources, acting as a liaison between patients and treatment providers to enhance continuity of care.
  • Offer mentorship and educational opportunities to students, interns, and volunteers, contributing to the overall development of the next generation of clinicians.
  • Participate in peer reviews and clinical audits directed by your clinical supervisor, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and team member support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will provide outpatient therapy primarily to individuals and families coping with the effects of cancer. This role demands a nuanced understanding of how a cancer diagnosis influences mental health and well-being, requiring the use of evidence-based practices tailored to this specific patient demographic. Your interventions will play a critical role in fostering resilience and improving the quality of life for individuals facing significant health challenges.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing mental health services to patients affected by serious medical conditions, preferably within a detox or oncology setting.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or other integrative approaches.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
