Position Overview

Gateway Psychiatry Counseling LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in providing specialized outpatient therapy services to individuals and families facing the challenges associated with a cancer diagnosis. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your primary duties will include:

  • Performing comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' mental health needs while employing diagnostic tools such as the DSM-5.
  • Creating individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique backgrounds and needs of patients, including considerations for cultural diversity.
  • Utilizing evidence-based practices to implement therapeutic interventions aimed at supporting patients' mental health diagnoses.
  • Regularly monitoring and documenting patientsโ€™ progress and adjusting the treatment plans accordingly based on patient feedback and clinical evaluations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
