This is a full-time position (not an internship) based out of our headquarters in Cary, NC. Candidates are expected to work on-site Monday through Friday for a standard 40-hour work week.

This program provides hands-on experience in the roofing industry through field training, technical instruction, and management shadowing. Participants will progress along a career path toward roles such as Project Manager, Estimator, Superintendent, or similar positions.RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to meet the following qualifications and demonstrate the listed knowledge, skills, and abilities.Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional full-time work experience
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English
  • Driver’s License: Required
  • Location: Must be a commutable distance to the headquarters in Cary, NC
  • Availability: Must be available to work on-site Monday through Friday for a standard 40-hour work week
Note: Upon successful completion of the program, relocation may be required based on available opportunities.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Essential Functions
  • Perform general physical activities in construction environments including working at heights, climbing ladders, and working on commercial and residential roofs
  • Organize, plan, and execute work assignments
  • Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and complete work assignments with strong attention to detail
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Communicate information effectively through oral and written methods
  • Apply logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Observe performance of the team and organization – including yourself - and implement improvements or corrective actions as needed
Physical Demands
  • Ability to carry and load materials and equipment exceeding 75 pounds
  • Remove and handle ladders from service trucks
  • Set up ladders to safely access roofs for evaluations
  • Climb ladders, stairways, and scaffolding as required
Work Environment
  1. Phase 1: Field Experience – learn the ins and outs of roofing from start to finish
  2. Phase 2: Office Experience – gain exposure to submittals, pre-construction, and technical aspects of the business
  3. Phase 3: Management Experience – shadow various managers across operations and transition into a permanent position
