Relocating to an endorsed Eaton site is a required part of the adventure, enhancing your learning and maximizing program benefits. In our Engineering & Technology Program: You'll support product engineering projects driving the next wave of innovation for Eaton's products.

Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary for this role is $82,000 (bachelor's degree) with a one-time $6,000 signing bonus or $90,000 (master's degree) with a one-time $12,000 signing bonus.

What you'll do: Position Overview: Are you passionate for innovation and disruptive technology. Our Engineering and Technology Leadership Development Program may be for you. This two-year rotational program consists of two unique 12-month assignments.

This development program will provide you with the opportunity to design the world's next intelligent power management solutions and bring them to life. Throughout the program, you will build your leadership aptitude and technical depth in critical and strategic focus areas. The Early Career Leadership Development Program: Engineering Technology - Mechanical Design track will provide exposure to projects in creative design and development of various Eaton products.

Assignments will be supporting a specific business unit/product line within Eaton's Electrical, Mobility, or Aerospace teams to gain exposure to mechanical design from project initiation through manufacturing launch. Participants will work closely with Engineering leaders and cross-functionally gain exposure to Marketing, Sales, and Operations functions through project teams. Our strategic teams in this area are working on cutting edge technologies.

Projects or tasks you may be responsible for leading include: Design and Simulation Product Testing Design Validation Participation in product launch cycle for new product development Prototype Development and Testing Participation in Voice of the Customer product and marketing research Cost Saving initiatives for legacy or existing product lines And more. After completion of the program, your technical expertise combined with your newly acquired business acumen will get you ready to take on larger challenges within the Engineering & Technology function including technical or people leader opportunities. Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications : Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, engineering technology or applied engineering from an accredited institution with a graduation date before August 2027 Minimum of one internship/co-op experience or an equivalent of 3 months of mechanical design experience completed at the time of this application Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 Must be geographically flexible to relocate within the United States Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position
